These quick daily entries for the month of May aren't going to have clever names...just warning you in advance. I have figured out pretty quickly that going HAM in the gym means these blog posts are going to be short and sweet. By the end of the night, I AM BEAT!
BUT IT FEELS SO GOOD.
My morning at the gym: Yoga Flow @ 8:30 with Alyshea, Aquafit with Henry @ 9:15, swam laps, started my Day 2 workout, and then Strike Force with Jen @ 12:15 pm. I was there from 8am to 1pm working hard just about every single moment of it. PHEW!
Round 2 at the gym: Finished my Day 2 workout and then Relaxation Yoga with Vickie @ 7pm.
This was today's workout:
CHIN-UPS? Me? Whaaaaaaaat? I have attempted pulls-ups and chin-ups before on this beast...
In the beginning even with maximum weighted assistance, I dropped like a rock when climbing on this thing. As I've lost more and more weight I have tried from time to time. There were many "Nope, not yet!" moments along the way. A couple of weeks ago I tried again and was able to pull myself up one time. I certainly didn't think I'd be able to bust out 24 of these today but I did. It was rough, but I did it. I was so happy that I did, I had to come home and FB live about it. Gym gains are SO FUN!
I'm excited to be lifting again. I'm sure my skin will appreciate it too.
Tomorrow's workout looks like a killer. Though I'm quite intimidated by it, I'm super eager to get in there and make it work.
